Begum Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib^[a] (8 August – 15 August ),^[b] commonly known as Begum Mujib or Bangamata^[c] and also known by her nicknameRenu^[d] was the wife of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the first President of Bangladesh.
