With the new year upon us, The Powers That Be at Days of our Lives has detailed a number of cast changes that are sure to take fans by surprise.

Madelyn Kientz is out as (maybe) pregnant Sophia Choi, and Rachel Boyd is in.

Kientz, who debuted in the role in April 2024, will last air on January 27, 2025. Boyd takes over on February 12, 2025.

Meanwhile, Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) baby girl will look awfully different when Alice Halsey assumes the part of Rachel Black on April 24.

Finley Rose Slater has inhabited the character since 2021.

Kim Coles is scheduled to make a flying visit as Nurse Whitley King — Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) Body & Soul-addicted abductress  — on February 5, while Emily O’Brien is set to reprise her original alter-ego, Gwen Rizczech on March 10.

Finally, daytime dial hopper Michael Dietz (ex-Alan-Michael Spaulding, Guiding Light, ex-Joe Scanlon, Port Charles et
